Cookies & Local Storage
The current private build uses only storage needed for security and requested marketplace functions.
Current use
| Authentication and security | Session and security data used to sign in, protect restricted workspaces and prevent unauthorised access. Necessary for the requested account service. |
|---|---|
| Marketplace preferences | Local browser storage for favourites, comparison choices and temporary form or checkout continuity requested by the user. |
| Private-test continuity | Local fallback records may be used only on the local test address so the prototype can be checked without an external account. |
No advertising or analytics consent at present
The current build does not intentionally activate advertising, cross-site tracking, profiling pixels or non-essential analytics. For that reason, DAAD does not display a consent banner merely to obtain unnecessary consent. If any non-essential technology is added, it must remain disabled until the user makes a free, specific choice through a compliant consent control.
Controls
You can remove local preferences using browser settings. Removing necessary session data signs you out; removing favourites or comparisons resets those choices. A future preference centre must allow withdrawal as easily as acceptance and must not use preselected non-essential choices.
