DAAD Platform Terms
Rules for using the marketplace, sending dealer requests and creating reservation requests.
1. Platform operator
DAAD Auto Marketplace is operated by Danube Automotive Assembly Development SRLS, a società a responsabilità limitata semplificata with registered office at Località Prato Amato 1, 00010 Montelibretti (RM), Italy. Codice Fiscale and Partita IVA: 18487191001. Registered with the Registro delle Imprese di Roma, REA RM-1787748. Share capital: €500.00, fully paid. Certified legal contact (PEC): danubesrls@pec.it. General contact: galati.auto.assembly@gmail.com. Support telephone: +39 353 375 0020.
2. DAAD's role and the seller
DAAD acts solely as the online marketplace intermediary. It provides the marketplace, identity and document checks for dealer admission, protected communication, and tools for non-binding reservation and financing enquiries. The displayed dealer is the seller, makes the vehicle offer and is the only party that may enter into the vehicle sale contract with the buyer.
DAAD is not the seller, does not enter into the vehicle sale contract, does not issue the vehicle invoice and does not collect the vehicle price or any deposit. Any payment may be requested and received only by the identified dealer under its final contract and payment instructions. DAAD will not introduce payment collection without updating these terms, the checkout information and all legally required disclosures.
DAAD verification concerns the dealer information reviewed at the time of verification. It is not a mechanical warranty, roadworthiness certificate or guarantee that every dealer statement remains current. The vehicle page and pre-contract documents identify the applicable seller and conditions.
3. Listings, ranking and prices
Dealers must provide accurate identity, vehicle, price, tax, mileage, condition and availability information and keep it current. DAAD may suspend incomplete, misleading, unlawful or outdated listings.
The default “Recommended” order follows the marketplace catalogue order. Users can instead sort by price, model year, mileage or brand, and can filter by vehicle characteristics and dealer verification. DAAD does not currently sell paid ranking positions. Any future sponsored placement will be clearly labelled and explained.
Buyer access is currently free. DAAD's confirmed working launch model combines a monthly dealer subscription—Premium 25 (€99), Premium 50 (€179), Premium 100 (€299), Premium 150 (€399), or a custom Enterprise plan from €499, all plus applicable VAT—with a fixed dealer success fee for each completed sale attributable to the marketplace. The success fee is €500, €750, €1,000 or €1,500 plus VAT according to the final vehicle sale-price band, as described in the separate Dealer Terms. DAAD charges these fees only to the dealer and does not collect them from the buyer or add them to the buyer's vehicle payment.
For the initial public launch, DAAD intends to direct its buyer-facing marketplace services only to consumers in Italy and Romania. Germany is initially included for professional dealer recruitment, not for consumer-facing promotion. Access for consumers in Germany and the Republic of Moldova is planned for a later phase, only after country-specific legal and operational review and the required updates to the marketplace information and contractual documents.
Displayed vehicle prices and delivery figures must be confirmed in the seller's pre-contract information. No personalised price based on automated decision-making is currently used.
DAAD displays a real dealer vehicle only after the seller submits and DAAD approves its vehicle dossier. The controlled dossier includes VIN, evidence of ownership or the right to sell, registration evidence, mileage, known damage and defects, service and inspection status, homologation where relevant, safety information, the advertised total price and VAT treatment, unavoidable charges, optional delivery, warranty, complaints and cancellation or withdrawal information. Private source documents are restricted to authorised dealer and DAAD accounts; the material buyer-facing disclosures and the identified professional seller are shown on the vehicle page.
4. Requests, reservations and financing
A dealer contact request authorises DAAD to record and transmit the request to the selected dealer. A DAAD reservation is a request only: it does not charge a card, collect a deposit, transfer ownership or create a binding vehicle purchase. A binding sale can arise only directly between the buyer and the identified dealer after the buyer receives and accepts the dealer's final terms through the legally applicable process.
Every contact, reservation or financing-information request for a vehicle approved on the marketplace opens a traceable DAAD lead for the identified dealer. A dealer may reserve the vehicle only from that protected lead, which removes it from the public catalogue. The dealer cannot mark a vehicle as sold from the listing form: a sale must be declared from the traceable lead with the final price, sale date, dealer invoice or contract reference and the required confirmations, after which DAAD opens the controlled transaction dossier.
Financing figures are illustrative estimates, not a credit offer or decision. Any regulated financing application, disclosures and decision must be provided by an identified authorised financing partner under separate terms.
After a sale is agreed with the dealer, a buyer may separately request optional assistance with financing, insurance, registration, inspection, warranty or delivery. DAAD may coordinate the request and may receive a contractual commission from an authorised partner, but does not itself provide a regulated service unless expressly identified and authorised to do so. Buyer information is not sent to a partner before the relevant information and consent are recorded. Each partner remains responsible for its own offer, contract, disclosures and regulated activity.
5. Accounts and acceptable use
Users must provide accurate information, protect access to their account and use the platform lawfully. Scraping, impersonation, fraud, malware, interference with security and unauthorised access are prohibited. DAAD may restrict or suspend access to protect users, dealers, the platform or comply with law, with reasons and review options where required.
6. Complaints, notices and contact
Use the dedicated Report a concern channel for an allegedly illegal or misleading listing, unsafe vehicle or dealer-conduct concern. The report must identify the exact offer and explain the legal or safety reason and relevant facts; supporting evidence may be attached. DAAD issues an immediate electronic reference, preserves the case history and communicates a reasoned outcome and available appeal route.
A report does not itself establish illegality. DAAD assesses notices impartially and may request information, correct or suspend an offer, restrict a dealer, refer a matter to an authority or open a vehicle-safety recall workflow. Urgent physical danger must also be reported directly to the emergency services or competent authority. General platform, privacy and service questions remain available through DAAD Support. Consumer dispute options depend on the identified seller and contract; see Consumer rights.
7. Governing terms and changes
The final legally approved Italian text will be the source used to prepare the complete English, Romanian and German versions. Consumer-facing information will be provided in the language applicable to each activated target market. This source-language arrangement does not limit mandatory consumer protections or national language requirements in the consumer's country.
The final governing-law, jurisdiction and business-to-business clauses must be completed and approved by qualified counsel. Material changes will be dated, synchronised across all language versions and communicated where required.
